Ronald Nored fell going after a loose ball just a few minutes into Saturday's game between the Butler Bulldogs and the University of Detroit Mercy. This happens from time to time, and most of the time the falling player in question will use some sort of appendage -- a knee, hand, or elbow perhaps -- to break the fall. Nored chose to use his face, and while we are not ones to judge the choices young men make in their lives, the results are not pretty.
Check out the photo after jump (Warning: May cause mild squeamish-ness).

It is difficult to tell from the photo whether Nored is in utter agony, or laughing maniacally at the floor's pitiful attempt to take him out of the game. Either way, he has apparently lost his mind because he checked back in for the Bulldogs following the spill.
