Tyshawn Taylor added 19 points and Thomas Robinson had 15 points to go along with his game-high 11 rebounds. Connor Teahan (eight points) and Travis Relaford (one point) rounded out the scoring for the Jayhawks, who completed the season sweep of the Bears.

Syracuse Vs. Georgetown: Hoyas Dominating Paint, Lead 31-27 At Half

The key to staying with the Syracuse Orange is to slow down the tempo and dominate them in the paint. So far, the Georgetown Hoyas have accomplished both and they lead the No. 2 team in the nation 31-27 at halftime.

The Hoyas out-rebounded the Orange 26-13, scoring 16 points off offensive boards. They also slowed down the game to a crawl, deflating the Syracuse transition game and forcing the Orange to take bad shots. And of all things, it's the Georgetown zone defense stifling Syracuse.

Hollis Thompson leads Georgetown with eight points while Markel Starks added seven and Jason Clark scored six.

Syracuse is led by Kris Joseph with 12 points and no other Orange has more than four (three players). The Orange are shooting 28% overall to Georgetown's 40%.

It's the first time Syracuse has trailed at halftime at home this season.

Kansas Vs. Baylor: Game Time, TV Coverage And More

The Ferrell Center is the venue for a top-10 showdown for the second time in less than a month, as the No. 6 Baylor Bears play host to the No. 7 Kansas Jayhawks in a crucial Big 12 battle this evening in Waco.

Thomas Robinson and Tyshawn Taylor did what they do best, but a combined 46 points between them still wasn't enough in a three-point setback to Missouri in Columbia this past weekend. Robinson once again did his damage down low, finishing with his 16th double-double of the season, posting 25 points and 13 rebounds. Taylor poured in 21 points, but the two also combined for 11 of the team's 15 turnovers. Elijah Johnson added 11 points for Kansas, which despite shooting 53.6 percent from the floor, was unable to earn the win.

Robinson's name is certainly on everyone's short list when it comes to potential National Player of the Year nominees. The 6-10 junior power forward is converting nearly 55 percent of his shots this year, leading the Jayhawks in scoring (18.0 ppg) and the Big 12 in rebounding (12.0 rpg). Taylor is both a prolific scorer (16.9 ppg) and deft distributor (5.2 apg) and can really extend defenses, preventing them from collapsing down on Robinson, as he is shooting a healthy .440 from behind the arc (37-of-84). Travis Releford (9.6 ppg), Johnson (9.2 ppg) and Jeff Withey (8.1 ppg) round out the starting five. The Jayhawks have played well at both ends of the floor and enjoy a solid +14.1 scoring margin as a result.

The Bears are similar in their offensive approach, as they can score both inside and out as well. Baylor may have a bit more depth however, with a strong frontcourt trio, as well as a balanced backcourt. Forward Perry Jones III leads the team in scoring (14.8 ppg) and rebounding (7.9 rpg), converting just over 55 percent from the floor. Fellow forwards Quincy Acy (12.4 ppg, 7.0 rpg) and Quincy Miller (12.4 ppg, 5.3 rpg) add depth up front. Point guard Pierre Jackson (12.7 ppg, 5.9 apg) is charged with running the offense and has the ability to both distribute and find his own shot. Fellow guard Brady Heslip (9.6 ppg) gives the team a second long range threat, as he and Jackson has combined for 101 of the team's 166 three-pointers to date.

Syracuse Vs. Georgetown: Game Time, TV Information, Preview And More

The No. 12 Georgetown Hoyas and No. 2 Syracuse Orange have met many times in the Carrier Dome, but Wednesday night might be the last time they do it as in Big East battle. You can be sure both teams will make it count.

This will be the 87th encounter between the Hoyas and Orange. Syracuse leads the all-time series 47-39 after it picked up a 58-51 victory over Georgetown last season on Feb 26th, 2011 in Washington, DC.

Jason Clark is pacing Georgetown this season with a team-highs of 15.2 points and 1.8 steals per game. The senior guard has shot 56.2 percent from the field in his last two outings. Hollis Thompson and Henry Sims are both vital to the Hoyas' success as well. Thompson is second in the team with a scoring average of 13.7 PPG. Sims had team-highs of 13 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in the recent win over South Florida. Otto Porter is reeling in a team-high 6.6 RPG.

The Orange have had all their success come this season through a total team effort. There is not any player on Syracuse with jaw-dropping statistics, but the team's play as a solidified unit has led to superb results. Kris Joseph leads Syracuse in scoring with 13.7 PPG on 44.3 percent shooting. The senior forward has been consistent lately, reaching double figures in six straight contests. Dion Waiters averages a second-best 12.3 PPG, while Brandon Triche chips in an even 10.0 PPG. Scoop Jardine controls the offense for the Orange and leads it with 4.8 assists per contest. Melo anchors the patented 2-3 zone with 3.0 blocks per game.

The Hoyas have their work cut out for them in this one, as the Orange seemed to have regained their stride. Georgetown will need to limit its turnovers and hit the outside shot to challenge the Orange. Syracuse will have to continue its stellar defensive play, as it will be limited offensively by the Hoyas' top-notch defense.
