The 2012 Big Ten Tournament semifinals will take place on Saturday. The No. 1-seeded Michigan State Spartans will be taking on the No. 4-seeded Wisconsin Badgers.
The 2012 Big Ten Tournament is nearing its thrilling conclusion. The semifinals of the tournament will take place on Saturday, with the No. 1-seeded Michigan St. Spartans (25-7, 13-5 Big Ten) squaring off against the No. 4-seeded Wisconsin Badgers (23-8, 12-6 Big Ten).
The two teams met twice in the regular season, with MSU picking up the win both times. They defeated the Badgers in a 63-60 overtime contest on Jan. 3 and defeated them more easily on Feb. 16, 69-55. The Spartans will be attempting to carry their No. 1 seed all the way into the finals and to the championship.
The game will tip off at 1:40 p.m. ET and will be televised nationally on ESPN.
