Missouri Vs. Texas Final Score: Tigers Into Big 12 Tournament Final With 81-67 Win

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Missouri Tigers are through to the final of the Big 12 Tournament final, where they will meet the Baylor Bears for a chance to take the trophy with them on their way out of the conference. They put in an excellent performance on Friday night, outplaying the Texas Longhorns wire to wire in an 81-67 win.

Frank Haith made minimal use of his bench as usual. Marcus Denmon had a horrific shooting night, but his teammates picked up the slack. While Denmon went 0-10 from the floor, four Tigers scored in double figures while Kim English, Phil Pressey and Ricardo Ratliffe combined for 64 points. English and Pressey were the game's joint leading scorers with 23 points each.

J'Covan Brown scored 21 points for Texas. While the Longhorns shot well from outside and won the rebounding battle, they couldn't do anything to slow down Missouri on the defensive end.
