Pac-12 Championship Game: Colorado Narrowly Leads Arizona At Halftime

Stay connected with SB Nation

Though the chatter surrounding the Pac-12 Conference Tournament has centered on how terrible the teams playing in it are, and how the conference champion might be the only team to make the tournament, the Colorado Buffaloes and Airzona Wildcats are playing a pretty good game, scrambling to earn an all-important automatic bid. The Buffaloes are barely ahead, 30-28, at the intermission.

Spencer Dinwiddie was on fire in the first half, scoring nine points and shooting 3-3 from long range to lead Colorado. The Buffaloes dominated the glass in the half, outrebounding the Wildcats 20-11, without which they would probably be down significantly.

The Wildcats are being led by Kyle Fogg, who has 10 points but, incredibly, no rebounds and no assists. Brendon Lavender provided a spark off the bench with two three-pointers, but the Wildcats need to do a better job cleaning up the glass in the second half if they want to win this.
