Stay connected with SB Nation

The Florida State Seminoles knocked off the North Carolina Tar Heels in the final round of the 2012 ACC Tournament to win the school's first ever ACC basketball championship.

In the win, the Noles were led by junior guard Michael Snaer, who scored 18 points on the night, including a handful of big time shots and three pointers. Snaer was a big cog in the Noles' machine throughout the ACC Tournament and was named tournament MVP for his efforts. He hit four of his five three-point shots in the finals and averaged 18 points a game for the tournament as a whole.
