SEC Tournament 2012: Vanderbilt's John Jenkins Named MVP

The Vanderbilt Commodores took home the 2012 SEC Tournament title with a 71-64 win over the Kentucky Wildcats on Sunday. John Jenkins led the way throughout the tourney run, as he has all season. He had 17 points on Sunday and was named tournament MVP after the game for the effort.

The Commodores were very impressive during their run, defeating the Georgia Bulldogs by 22 points on Friday and downing the Ole Miss Rebels by 12 on Saturday. Against the Rebels, Jenkins went off for 23 points, hitting five three pointers for the game. He was the leading scorer in the SEC this season, averaging 20 points per game.
