The 2012 College Basketball Invitational (CBI) Tournament has come down to the final four teams still duking it out for the championship. Both CBI semifinals matches will take place on Wednesday night.
In the first of the two semifinal matchups, the Pittsburgh Panthers will take on the Butler Bulldogs. Pittsburgh defeated the Princeton Tigers in the quarterfinals to advance, while Butler defeated the Penn Quakers. Pitt-Butler will tip off in Indianapolis at 8 p.m. ET and will be televised on HDNet.
The nightcap will see a Northwestern showdown, as the Washington St. Cougars take on the Oregon St. Beavers. WSU defeated the Wyoming Cowboys in the quarterfinals, while Oregon St. knocked off the TCU Horned Frogs. This game will begin at 10 p.m. ET in Corvallis, Ore., and will also be televised on HDNet.
The two winning teams will advance to the championship series, a best-of-three format that begins on Monday, March 26.
