Missouri comfortably rolled over Texas Tech in Lubbock on Saturday.
The Missouri Tigers didn't need to bring their best to defeat the Big 12's worst team, the Texas Tech Red Raiders, but decided to give their all for 40 minutes anyway. Frank Haith didn't bring in anyone beyond his normal seven-man rotation and the Tigers piled it on, defeating Texas Tech 81-59.
Kim English came off the bench for Missouri, but led all scorers with 20 points. Five of the seven Tigers who played in the game scored in double figures and Ricardo Ratliffe racked up a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Texas Tech turned the ball over 14 times to Missouri's eight and allowed the visitors to grab 10 offensive rebounds as they comfortably controlled the game from start to finish.
This closes out an ugly regular season for Texas Tech, in which they won just one game in the Big 12. The good news for them is that, on this senior day, only one senior was among those who took the floor. This is a young team with a lot of freshmen that doesn't have anywhere to go but up.
