It's senior day for the Duke Blue Devils, and their only senior, Miles Plumlee, started the game instead of his brother Mason. He got his team off to a brilliant start with a couple of buckets in the post. Unsurprisingly, Duke has been setting up in the half court while the North Carolina Tar Heels are (successfully) trying to push the pace in the early going.
UNC started the game by going to Tyler Zeller in the post right away, and he scored the game's first bucket just 12 seconds into the game. Zeller and Harrison Barnes are both assertive in the early going, and have created their own shots. They have six points apiece.
At the under-16 minute stoppage in the first half, UNC leads 18-5. Duke is 0-5 from behind the arc and aren't going to keep this competitive, even at home, if they can't make three-point shots.
Oh, and there are some famous folks in the crowd! There's Doc Rivers and ... Peyton Manning? Yes, Peyton Manning.
