UNC are still in control at Cameron Indoor, but Duke are finally showing signs of life and it appears this might become a contest. After the North Carolina Tar Heels got off to an extremely dominant start, the Duke Blue Devils have finally managed to make a few shots to get themselves back into the game. UNC leads 30-17 at the under-eight minute media timeout in the first half
Duke started 0-7 from behind the arc and at one point missed 13 shots in a row, but made a few shots in the last four minutes. Austin Rivers and Seth Curry were both able to hit from behind the arc, but 2-9 from three-point land isn't going to do it for Duke. They're going to have to make 10 or so three-point shots at a 35-40 percent clip to stay competitive with UNC.
The Heels are also dominating on the boards as well as the scoreboard. They have a 17-6 advantage in that department. Rivers and Harrison Barnes are joint-leading scorers in this game with eight points apiece.
