UNC Vs. Duke Score Update: Blue Devils Slowly Chipping Away At Lead

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Duke Blue Devils have a very long way to go to make this game close, but they've started the second half very well and are chipping away at the North Carolina Tar Heels' lead. UNC has scored a couple of buckets, but Duke had a 10-0 run at one point and they're hitting outside shots. At the under-16 minute media timeout in the second half, UNC leads 52-34. When the teams come back on the floor, Mason Plumlee will be shooting free throws.

Duke is now 4-15 from behind the arc after Seth Curry and Tyler Thornton drained threes to start the half, with Thornton's coming from at least 26 feet as the shot clock expired. They also drew fouls on Reggie Bullock and Tyler Zeller early in the half, and both of those players now have three personal fouls, which could come into play later in the half.
