The North Carolina Tar Heels appear to have built up an insurmountable lead, but things are certainly getting interesting at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Duke Blue Devils are on a 12-3 run at the under-eight minute media timeout in the second half, and UNC leads 71-57. That 14-point lead is significantly smaller than the Tar Heels' biggest lead, which was 26 points.
Duke have scored the last three baskets in the game, including a three by Seth Curry. They forced a turnover by UNC just before the timeout, and will have the ball when play starts again. In the absence of Miles Plumlee, who was having an excellent game before a fourth foul forced him to the bench, Mason Plumlee has stepped up in in recent minutes. He now has 14 points and four rebounds.
