The 2012 Pac-12 Men's Basketball Tournament gets underway on Wednesday afternoon at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The first game in the tournament will be between the eighth-seeded Washington St. Cougars and the No. 9 seed, the Oregon St. Beavers.
The Cougars defeated the Beavers during both regular-season matchups (81-76, 83-73), which is why the Cougars enter the tournament as the No. 8 seed, although both teams hold a 7-11 conference record.
The game will begin at 3:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday and will air on Fox Sports Net.
Whichever team emerges from the game victorious will advance to Thursday's quarterfinals, where they will face off against the No. 1 seed, two-time defending conference champion the Washington Huskies.
