The 2012 Pac-12 Men's Basketball Tournament gets under way on Wednesday afternoon at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The first of two night games will pit the seventh-seeded Stanford Cardinal against the No. 10 seed, the Arizona St. Sun Devils.
The two teams only played each other once during the regular season, where Stanford coasted to an easy 68-44 victory. Stanford finished the regular season 20-10 overall, with a 10-8 record within the Pac-12, while ASU could only manage a 10-20 record, going 6-12 in conference play.
The game will begin at 9 p.m. ET Wednesday and will air on Fox Sports Net.
Whichever team emerges from the game victorious will advance to Thursday's quarterfinals, where they will face off against the No. 2 seed, the California Golden Bears.
