It looked like the Oregon State Beavers were on their way to pulling another upset in the Pac-12 Tournament at the end of the first half, but the Arizona Wildcats started the second guns blazing and eventually pulled away. The Beavers took a seven-point lead into the break, but Sean Miller's team went on a 20-3 run to start the second half, eventually coasting to a 70-61 victory.
Devon Collier, Roberto Nelson and Jared Cunningham did plenty on the offensive end for the Beavers, but they got very little help and they struggled as a team defensively in the second half. Arizona's Kyle Fogg had an excellent game, leading all scorers with 22 points. Arizona shot 9-18 from three-point range and did an excellent job of cleaning up on the boards when Oregon State began to miss shots in the second half.
Arizona will play in Saturday's Pac-12 tournament final and they await the winner of the late game between the Colorado Buffaloes and the California Golden Bears.
