Kentucky head coach John Calipari said he told Indiana coach Tom Crean to "move on" when the Hoosiers tried to negotiate a compromise over locations for the series to be played.

Kentucky Wildcats head coach John Calipari talked about the Indiana-Kentucky rivalry during a news conference Wednesday, and reiterated the reasons for the series' hiatus. The Hoosiers and head coach Tom Crean wanted to see games played on campus at Assembly Hall and Rupp Arena, while Calipari and the Wildcats preferred neutral sites where both schools could earn greater revenues.

Calipari said he told Crean to "move on" when Indiana tried to reach a compromise.

"Like I told Tommy (Crean), 'Tommy, move on. It's done," Calipari said. "We're good. I'm good, you're good. You have your schedule, we have our schedule.' '' Calipari said. "I know our schedule's tough. If you want to compare (it) to anybody else's schedule, do it.''

Besides the raucous atmosphere, Indiana wanted to see games played on campus so that students could have easier access to the games. Calipari, however, apparently has no sympathy for today's young scholars.

"They're only two hours away,'' Calipari said. "Are they that poor? They couldn't get to that building? Our students are going. I mean, ours would go up there.''
