Richmond, VA (Sports Network) - RaShawn Polk posted 20 points with four rebounds as Towson cruised past UNC-Wilmington, 91-74, in first-round action of the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament.

Troy Franklin scored 18 points and Isaiah Philmore added 14 for the Tigers (10-20), who will face top-seeded Old Dominion in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

Dominique Lacy had 13 points for the Seahawks (9-22), who ended the season with five losses in six games. Johnny Wolf, Ahmad Grant and Keith Rendleman each scored 10 in a losing effort.

Towson jumped out to a 13-6 lead in the first 4:14 of the contest, and upped its edge to 23-12 almost nine minutes in after Polk drained a three.

Franklin's free throw set the Tigers' advantage to 20 at 43-23 with 4:22 left in the half, and a Polk jumper with 1:24 to play gave Towson a 52-26 edge. The Tigers led by 22 at the break.

Josh Thornton hit a bucket for a 65-38 Tigers advantage early in the second half, and when Brian Morris hit one from long range, it was a 30-point edge at 82-52 and the Seahawks never got close.
