Tennessee and Ohio State played yet another classic NCAA Tournament game...but this time, the Vols made the block in the final second to send them to their first ever Elite Eight.
Elite Eight, here we come. Next up, we'll play either Northern Iowa or Michigan State, so fire up the CBS MMOD wonder machine once again and scout these guys for Sunday.
We're not doing poorly, they're just doing just a little bit better. Buckle up.
Just a little something to get you ready for tonight's game:
The Buckeyes stand between the Vols and their first ever Elite Eight. Here's what Tennessee needs to do to make history.
And into the Sweet 16 we go! The 2nd seeded Buckeyes take on their third foe of the NCAA Tournament tomorrow night when they face the 6th seeded Volunteers of Tennessee in a rematch of 2007's...
They're not deep and they're not complicated, but the Buckeyes are very good. Who else besides Evan Turner should Vol fans know about?
The Tennessee Volunteers are relishing the unlikely scenario of playing the underdog role through the first three games of the NCAA Tournament despite being higher seeds than its first two opponents.
Today's Talking Points leads off with perhaps the first national-perspective article actually treating the Sweet Sixteen match up between the Tennessee Volunteers and the Ohio State Buckeyes as a game rather than a rare third-round bye for the Buckeyes.
Today's Talking Points from RTT leads off with a reminder of how Tennessee lost its big lead against Ohio State in the 2007 Sweet Sixteen: by allowing themselves to be called for too many fouls.
