T.W.I.T.S. - This Week In Twitter: Syracuse. Scoop Jardine's Dad will murder you!
The Syracuse Orange defeated the Kansas St. Wildcats 75-59 on Saturday to advance to the Final Four. Here are the quotes to prove it:
The Orange will look to get back on track today when they take on the eight-seed Kansas St. Wildcats in the third-round of the NCAA Tournament at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
How's YOUR bracket? That great, huh? You can check it here: http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/group/68112 I would love to brag that I correctly picked NC State, Ohio, & USF...because I...
The one-seed Syracuse Orange continue what's quickly become a nightmarish 2012 NCAA Tournament experience on Saturday around 12:15 p.m. EST when they take on the 8-seed Kansas State Wildcats in Pittsburgh. The winner moves on to the Sweet Sixteen and the East Regional in Boston next week.
In a way, the Syracuse Orange basketball team is already a communist system. The dictator (Jim Boeheim) rules over the proletariat working class (the players) whereby the controlling party (the coaching staff, led by Boeheim) dictate the economy while turning all private property into public property (Nike gear) while leaving private property untampered with (Twitter feeds).
For the Syracuse Orange (32-2) Thursday's 72 - 65 over 16 seed UNC Asheville was ugly, full of controversy, and, in the end, a game SU was lucky to win. I'll admit, at certain points I thought the season was over. Some questionable, at best, calls by the officials and some crunch time free throws allowed for the Orange to squeak it out and advance.
As if Syracuse Orange fans weren't already feeling wary about their upcoming "third" round game against the Kansas St. Wildcats in the NCAA Tournament, now we find out it's going to be a Nooner.
Within the same realm is the idea that we create everything that happens to us, good or bad. We manifest. If this is true, I wonder what it says about Syracuse Athletics or Syracuse fans that so many great moments have been overshadowed by atrocious refereeing that nullifies said great moment in the eyes of the public?
