Akron's Quincy Diggs has been suspended for the coming academic year making him ineligible on the court for the Zips. Diggs was the 6th Man of the Year in the MAC in 2011-12, averaging 8.2 points off the bench.

Ohio State and Cleveland State are working to take leads in their conferences, while Akron are playing to keep the lead in the MAC East they've already earned.
