Lexington, KY (Sports Network) - Kentucky sophomore forward Patrick Patterson will withdraw his name from the NBA Draft and return to school.
Patterson said he will return because he will have the chance to graduate in three years, as well as the chance to help Kentucky go for a national championship under new head coach John Calipari.
In Patterson, Calipari will have a player who averaged 17.9 points and 9.3 rebounds this past season, ranking in the top five in the Southeastern Conference in each category. He also recorded 15 double-doubles, tops in the SEC.
