The Falcons rallied from a 17-point first half deficit but could not finish in a 69-61 loss at Kent State. The loss likely relegates BGSU to a first-round MAC Tournament game next Monday in Bowling Green.

The Falcons never trailed as they cruised to a 73-52 victory over the Bobcats on an emotional Senior Day at the Stroh Center. The win bolsters BGSU's hopes for a bye in the upcoming MAC Tournament, but they will need help on Wednesday night to achie
The Falcons used a stingy defense to hold Miami to just 13 second half points on Wednesday night at the Stroh Center. Bowling Green earned a season split with the Redhawks and gains an important victory in their quest for a bye in the MAC Tournament
Saturday afternoon's game boiled down to a duel between Courtney Osborn and Jillian Halfhill. Osborn prevailed, and the race for a bye in the upcoming MAC tournament became even more convoluted with just three games to play.
BGSU hung with the Bobcats for a half, but Ohio used an early second half run to cinch their first 8-1 MAC start in 29 years.
Bowling Green badly needed a win, and the Falcons earned it in convincing fashion by cruising to a 70-59 win over the Ball State Cardinals. BGSU never trailed in the game.
Once again the Zips demonstrated why they haven't lost since December 15. But while Bowling Green had no chance of winning, signs are positive around the emergence of a third scorer.
When a team makes 96 percent of their free throws, they're likely to win.
The Falcons finally found their team effort in a 70-55 victory over Kent State, who has still yet to win a game in the Stroh Center.
