After the Dukes locked up their head coach through 2017, we step back and get a wider view of the conference-in-motion that is the Colonial Athletic Association.
JMU's NCAA tournament run is over but their championship coach is without a contract. What will the Dukes do?
Tom Crean's team did its job and pounded James Madison, moving on to the third round.
Yogi Ferrell dominated the scoring early, but Indiana eventually used its usual balanced offensive attack to rout James Madison in the second round on Friday.
The Hoosiers enter the second round as heavy favorites over the Dukes, who won on Wednesday over LIU Brooklyn.
With the win, the Dukes advance to play Indiana on Friday.
James Madison, down their top scorer for the first half, looked completely unfazed by the national stage as they shut down LIU-Brooklyn's potent offense en route to a thirteen point victory. Freshman Andre Nation was kind of important.
The LIU-Brooklyn senior forward's southpaw dunk made a James Madison defender look foolish.
As part of their 2013 March Madness coverage sponsored by McDonald's, SB Nation heads to four schools participating in this year's Big Dance. First up on the tour is James Madison, which is making just its fifth trip to the NCAA Men's Basketball Cham
Despite not having Rayshawn Goins on the floor in the first half, James Madison holds a slight lead over the Blackbirds at halftime.
After having a roller coaster past 24 hours, James Madison senior Rayshawn Goins finally learned his fate on Monday afternoon. Due to his arrest, Goins won't be eligible for all 40 minutes, but he'll still be able to lend his team a hand.
James Madison leading-scorer Rayshawn Goins will be suspended for the first half of the Dukes' NCAA Tournament opening-round game following an arrest Sunday for obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct.
