Sources: Chris Washburn Not Involved in Scuffle
A few days ago news surfaced that UTEP forward Chris Washburn Jr. was involved in an altercation at a local bar. However, now we're we are learning that may not exactly be the case.

It didn't take much time for UTEP to find a replacement for Jeff Choate, and while an official announcement still hasn't been made, it is expected to come very soon.

Even though there is still yet to be an official announcement from UTEP officials as to the departure of defensive coordinator Jeff Choate, reports are already surfacing of the Miners replacing him with Sam Houston State DC Scott Stoker.

In a game that many thought would be a dogfight to the end, the Miners came out with their worst defensive performance of the year and fell 85-67.
UTEP Women Fall to UCF
It was a high paced game, and while the Miners started strong they were simply unable to keep up and fell 89-77 at the hands of UCF.
Miners Put on Offensive Show, Advance to Semis
It was a solid offensive performance Thursday afternoon, one that saw six Miners score in double figures. In the end, they walked away with an 80-69 victory over Houston, and advanced to the semifinals of the C-USA tournament.
