Oregon can win games with the running game, the passing game, the return game, and, occasionally, with a fleet defense that creates turnovers. But Jeff Maehl may have added magic to that arsenal tonight.↵
Maehl's concentration on this play is impressive — he can't secure it at first, then pulls it in as he falls — and just part of Oregon's exhilarating race to the peak of college football.↵
The Ducks are still doing a tightrope act with an undersized, leaky defense, but Chip Kelly's offense is basically the NCAA equivalent of a Bugatti Veyron (and it comes in many colors!), and the Ducks' 53-32 dusting of USC turned the Trojans into just its most recent skidmark. At this point, you're enjoying the ride or bracing for a fiery crash. Or both.
