Ohio State Vs. Iowa: Buckeyes Win A Close One, 20-17

Ohio State will lay on a relative firestorm of points this quarter (ten!). Will the Hawkeyes be able to keep pace? (SPOILER ALERT: They will not.)

First, some futility. Iowa's drive in progress stalls out near midfield. Terrelle Pryor is intercepted on 3rd-and-10, and can be seen on the sidelines shouting at his position coach. Marcus Coker takes full advantage of the momentum swing, rushing right for a 26-yard gain on first down and then punching in a one-yard score.

Jordan Hall runs the kick back a good 33 yards, but a promising Ohio State drive ends with two incomplete passes and a sack on Pryor, and Devin Barclay boots a 48-yard field goal.

Iowa goes three-and-out, and that's going to turn out to be the difference-maker. DeVier Posey drops a surefire touchdown pass on third down in the Buckeyes' answering drive, but Pryor gets a 14-yard gain with his feet on 4th-and-10, and two minutes later, Daniel Herron scores the last touchdown of the game. Your final score in Iowa City: Ohio State 20, Iowa 17.
