College Football Rankings: Week 13 USA Today Poll Has Three Pac-10 Teams

As has been the case all year, the Pac-10 makes up for the lack of quantity with a surplus of quality.

Three Pac-10 teams are ranked in the USA Today coaches poll for Week 13, which is middling among BCS automatic qualifying conferences. But only the Pac-10 and SEC have two teams in the top eight and one in the top two.

This may well change next week, as Oregon meets Arizona for a chance to seal up the Pac-10 Championship and assure the school of nothing less than a second straight Rose Bowl berth. And Stanford's high ranking may still not sway BCS bowl representatives to take the Cardinal to a BCS bowl, thanks to a complicated series of events.

But this is still a good year for the Pac-10. Any year for any conference with two of the 10 best teams in the country usually is.

Full Pac-10 rankings are as follows:

- No. 1 Oregon
- No. 8 Stanford
- No. 20 Arizona
