The Louisville Cardinals will field two players in Tuesday's Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl who stand a legitimate chance of being selected in this spring's 2011 NFL Draft. Running back Bilal Powell and tight end Cameron Graham will be on hand in St. Petersburg to showcase their talents for possible future employers.
Though hampered by a knee injury this season, Powell still rushed for over 1,300 yards in the Cardinals' 2010 campaign. The senior from Lakeland, Florida is ranked as high as the top ten at his position, and is projected to be taken somewhere in the fifth or sixth rounds.
Graham, a two-year starter for Louisville, recorded 439 yards on 37 receptions, with four touchdowns to his name. The senior from Inglewood, California isn't particularly highly regarded by draftniks but should get some late-round or free agent looks.
The 2010 Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl kicks off at 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 21. For more Louisville Cardinals news, visit SB Nation's Card Chronicle.
