New Mexico Bowl Lineup Set: UTEP Vs. BYU

The third complete matchup of the 2010 college football bowl season has been announced: The UTEP Miners are the team selected to face BYU in Albuquerque in the New Mexico Bowl. Set to get underway December 18 at 2:00 p.m., it'll be the first bowl to kick off this postseason by three and a half hours.

The Miners have arrived at this bowl berth in typical UTEPian fashion, winning five of their first six games before losing five of their last six. A November 6 win over SMU got them to the six-win mark. They'll face stiff competition from the Cougars, who've righted their season after a series of early and inexplicable faceplants.

Bowl selections will continue to roll in throughout the week, and we'll be following them all right here. Stay tuned to this StoryStream through the selection show Sunday night, and be sure to browse through our complete college football 2010 postseason schedule
