Central Florida had already accepted its big to the Liberty Bowl, and was only waiting for an SEC opponent. That opponent will be Georgia. The Bulldogs will head to the Memphis-based bowl to take on the Knights on New Year's Eve.
UCF doesn't have much of a record against SEC teams, but it should be noted that the Knights once upset Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Georgia's sensational freshman quarterback, Aaron Murray, will look to avoid a similar fate for the Bulldogs at the Liberty Bowl.
But he'll likely have to outplay UCF's own star freshman signal-caller. Jeffery Godfrey, who stands no more than five feet, 10 inches, has helped the Knights to perhaps the best season in program history, and he could make it even better with a big bowl win against an SEC power.
Basically, if you're looking for a game that features a couple of quarterbacks you're liable to hear more about in the next few years, the Liberty Bowl would be a good place to start.
