Capital One Bowl: Michigan State, Alabama Will Meet In Orlando

This year's Capital One Bowl pits two of the better non-BCS schools of 2010.

Michigan State and Alabama, both top 20 teams in the final BCS rankings, get to go to Orlando for a New Year's Day showdown that pits an 11-1 team against last year's national champion. It's also one of those always-popular SEC-Big Ten clashes.

On an individual level, the Capital One Bowl will likely be a bittersweet game for Mark Ingram. He's from Flint, Michigan, near Michigan State, and his father went there. If the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner decides to enter the NFL Draft after this season, his last collegiate will come against the Spartans.

Bowl selections will continue to roll in all night, and we'll be following them all right here. Stay tuned to this StoryStream through the selection show, browse our complete college football 2010 postseason schedule, and connect with Alabama and Michigan State fans at SB Nation's Roll 'Bama Roll and The Only Colors.
