The second quarter gets underway mid-possession for Virginia Tech, and for the first time all night, one of these teams appears to have consistent answers as far as moving the football. That's a throw by a player falling out of bounds, caught for a touchdown by another player also falling out of bounds. Tyrod Taylor loves it when a plan comes together. With 10:56 remaining in the second quarter, Virginia Tech leads Stanford, 9-7.
