New conference, same-old story. Once again, Boise State finds themselves incapable of doing nothing aside from beating the opponents in front of them. This week's sacrificial lamb will at least be a new face as the Broncos have never before faced Colorado State
That doesn't mean the Rams are expected to put up much of a fight. Boise State is winning by an average of about 34 points per game while barely moving it out of third gear. They often find themselves in situations like they did last week where a 57-7 win at Fresno State results in performances like this from Kellen Moore (via One Bronco Nation Under God):
Moore threw for 254 yards and three scores - numbers that were limited by short fields, dropped TDs, and being up by 37 at halftime.
The Rams' 3-2 record is a bit deceiving, as well. It includes a win over Northern Colorado and a win over 0-5 New Mexico. They've lost at home to San Jose State, as well as handing Colorado their only win of the season. This could get ugly.
