Penn State Vs. Purdue: Nittany Lions On Pace To Score At Least Twice

Stay connected with SB Nation

It's pretty dumb that the 5-1 Penn St. Nittany Lions aren't ranked. Their only loss  was to the Alabama Crimson Tide, and they have one of the nation's best defense. But points are fun. This is how Houston somehow ends up ranked instead of Penn State.

Well, are you in for a fun afternoon, AP voters. Curtis Dukes scored a one-yard touchdown against the Purdue Boilermakers in the first quarter, the first of perhaps as many as two or three such scores for the day.
