Michigan Vs. Michigan State Halftime Score: Tied Up After Uneventful Opening

The Michigan Wolverines and Michigan St. Spartans are not playing very good offense. Denard Robinson is 3-of-11 and threw a shoulda-been-interception, we've already enjoyed seven punts and the score is 7-7. If only there were some sort of visual metaphor for this game. Ah, perfect.

Call it good defense, but it does seem like neither offense is playing to its strengths. Sparty has been banging Michigan via the ground game, with Edwin Baker racking up 71 yards, but a couple of extremely conservative punts handed back that advantage. Michigan, meanwhile, has had Robinson drop back about twice as often as its had him run. He's averaging six yards per rush and 3.5 per throw.
