Michigan Vs. Michigan State Score Update: Wolverines In Trouble, Down 14

Stay connected with SB Nation

Michigan's bid to remain undefeated and put an end to their losing streak against Michigan State at the same time is suddenly in serious trouble. Kirk Cousins is 13-of-22 for 120 yards and two touchdowns, Edwin Baker has run for 142 yards and another touchdown on 18 carries, and Michigan State is up 21-7 as the final second tick off the clock in the third quarter.

Denard Robinson and Devin Gardner are a combined 6-of-21 for 66 yards -- that's a 3.1-yard per attempt average -- and Robinson has also been shut down on the ground. The dual-threat quareterback has just 44 yards on 12 carries, though he's also scored once on the ground. The rest of the Wolverines' rushing attack has gained 60 yards on 13 carries.
