Florida Vs. Auburn Score: Tigers Less Bad In Messy First Half

Stay connected with SB Nation

You didn't expect poetry when looking into the score of this game between the Florida Gators and Auburn Tigers, did you? Barrett Trotter and Jacoby Brissett have combined to go two-of-nine, Florida's averaging 2.3 yards per rush, six punts already, two Gators turnovers ... it's sort of a wonder Auburn only leads 7-0, but it's early.

Auburn's broken a handful of biggish plays, including 13-yard runs by Michael Dyer and Onterio McCalebb in addition to a 25-yard touchdown by DeAngelo Benton. Other than that, offense has not happened. The most exciting play so far was a fumble recovery for a touchdown that was ruled back due to fumble recovery rules. #fumberecoveryrules

Auburn and Florida are not known for playing beautiful games against each other. Nothing will change that.
