Darron Thomas Injury: Oregon QB Sidelined With Leg Injury

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Oregon Ducks took a lead over Arizona State before the half, but in the second half had their offense take another big hit. After losing LaMichael James to an elbow injury a week ago, quarterback Darron Thomas left the game with a lower left leg injury. Thomas was running with the ball when an Arizona State defender came down awkwardly on his leg.

Thomas stayed on the ground for a bit then limped his way to the sideline. After being evaluated on the sideline on the trainers table, Thomas limped to the locker room to get his leg looked at further. Oregon back up quarterback Bryan Bennett will now try to lead the Ducks back, as the Sun Devils just took the lead 24-21 on an Alex Garoutte touchdown.
