Since Saturday's game between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and USC Trojans is nationally-televised, at least one team is contractually-obligated to unveil a new uniform or, at the very least, accessory.
It will be Notre Dame, who announced on Wednesday that the Irish will be wearing new, golder helmets for the game.
According to Brian Kelly, the helmets "will shine more under the Notre Dame Stadium lights."
Oregon and Maryland find your uniform news boring and pedantic, Notre Dame.
