It's not yet the time of the year for BCS rankings to start coming out, and Sunday's AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll won't be out for about an hour or so (check back here soon!). For now, the best look at how the nation's best college football teams stack up is going to be USA Today's Sagarin Ratings -- of course, they're probably better than any of the other three rankings, for the most part, at least.
The computers like the Alabama Crimson Tide at No. 1, and by a considerable distance, too. A 101.35 rating for the Tide puts them 3.84 points ahead of the No. 2 LSU Tigers, which is the biggest margin between any two schools until you get way, way down the list. The Wisconsin Badgers rank ahead of the Oklahoma Sooners despite Wisconsin's 117th-ranked schedule.
The Clemson Tigers crack the top 10, showing up at No. 9, while the computers are likely kinder on the No. 11 Florida Gators than the humans will be.
On the Division I-AA side, the Georgia Southern Eagles show up ahead of the Wofford Terriers and Northern Iowa Panthers.
