The banged up Colorado Buffaloes will attempt to get their first win in the Pac-12 against the Oregon Ducks.

Still searching for their first win in the Pac-12, the 1-6 Colorado Buffaloes host the 5-1 Oregon Ducks at Folsom Field on Saturday afternoon.

The Ducks, who are ranked ninth in this week's AP poll, should get back junior quarterback Darron Thomas but will likely be without junior running back LaMichael James. Thomas injured his left leg in Oregon's 41-27 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils last week, but practiced on Wednesday and expects to play against the Buffaloes. James dislocated his left elbow on October 6 and is less likely to go on Saturday. The Ducks' depth affords head coach Chip Kelly the luxury of not having to rush a dynamic play-maker like James back from injury. Junior running back Kenjon Barner and freshman DeAnthony Thomas combined for 38 carries and 244 yards and three touchdowns against the Sun Devils.

Colorado has lost three straight, including back-to-back losses where they've been outscored by ranked conference opponents (Stanford, Washington) by a combined 100-31. The Buffaloes are also expected to again be without standout wide receiver Paul Richardson, who has missed the last two weeks with a knee injury. Joining Richardson on the sidelines is running back Rodney Stewart, who leads the Buffaloes with 473 rushing yards and is second behind Richardson with 28 receptions and 435 yards out of the backfield. Stewart injured his knee in last week's loss to the Huskies. True freshman Tony Jones is penciled in as the starting running back this week.
