Stay connected with SB Nation

Oklahoma State's vaunted high-powered offense started slow, with their first possession ending in a missed Quinn Sharp field goal. The Cowboys got things moving after a second second consecutive Missouri three-and-out, moving the ball down the field 52 yards on eight plays, capping the drive with a 27-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Weeden to wideout Michael Harrison.

Weeden is now 8-of-10 passing for 104 yards and a touchdown in the first quarter. Justin Blackmon is on pace for 16 catches and 120 yards receiving if he keeps things up.

Following OK State's touchdown, the Tigers came right back on a nice scoring drive of their own, highlighted by a 31-yard screen pass to T.J. Moe from quarterback James Franklin. With under five minutes to go in the first quarter, the score is now 7-3, Cowboys.
