Oklahoma State Vs. Missouri Halftime Score: Offenses Dominate As Pokes Take 24-17 Lead

Whether the Big 12's reputation in recent years for lacking defense (and any semblance of boardroom order) is fair depends on who's doing the talking, but Oklahoma State and Missouri are earning that perception today. The two teams have combined for almost 600 yards of offense and 28 first downs -- in the first half -- and Oklahoma State holds a 24-17 lead.

For Oklahoma State, and to no one's surprise, the lion's share of the yardage has come off the arm of Brandon Weeden, who's 24-of-36 for 270 yards and all three Cowboys touchdowns. Three of Weeden's receivers have more yardage than the 45 running yards generated by the ground attack.

Missouri's rushing offense has more than made up for it, churning out 162 yards and a touchdown for the upset-minded Tigers. James Franklin is 4-of-10 passing for 60 yards and the other touchdown, that one a 34-yard connection with T.J. Moe, who also has a 31-yard pass in the game.
