Stay connected with SB Nation

Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein rushed for four touchdowns and threw for another as the Wildcats steam-rolled the Kansas Jayhawks, 59-21. This one was over before it began, with Kansas State exploding for 24 points in the second quarter en route to a 31-14 halftime lead.

The Wildcats weren't done, though, and scored the first 28 points of the second half to secure a 59-14 win. Klein threw for 195 yards and a touchdown but did most of his damage on the ground, rushing for 92 yards and four touchdowns. John Hubert also rushed for a touchdown in the romp. Tyler Lockett scored twice for the Wildcats, as well, returning the second half kickoff for the touchdown and catch a 19-yard pass from Klein.

Kansas quarterbacks Jordan Webb and Quinn Mecham each threw for touchdowns in the loss. The Wildcats were the seventh-straight ranked team Kansas has faced, and it showed.
