No Darron Thomas, no LaMichael James, no problem. Despite being without its starting quarterback and starting running back, Oregon has scored on its first four drives to ring up a 29-0 lead against Colorado in the first quarter.
Bryan Bennett, filling in for Thomas at quarterback, is 5-of-8 for 87 yards and two touchdowns and also has a 43-yard run. Kenjon Barner has run for 99 yards and two touchdowns -- on six carries. In all, the Ducks have piled up 293 yards of total offense, to 25 for Colorado -- that's more than ten times as much, for those of you who are keeping score.
Oh, and Oregon has already done the obligatory two-point conversion off of its odd point-after alignment. You may now pay attention to another game and just check the final score on this one.
