The Boise State Broncos are probably due for a trap game at some point during the NCAA football season. Fortunately for Kellen Moore and his teammates, though, it doesn't look like that game will happen against the Air Force Falcons as the halftime score reads 20-10 in favor of the Broncos.
Air Force tied the game at seven points apiece midway through the second quarter when quarterback Tim Jefferson punched it in from one yard, but Boise State began to click shortly thereafter as they scored two touchdown in a span of just over two minutes to give themselves a comfortable halftime cushion.
Kellen Moore completed 11 of his 13 passing attempts in the first half, two of them for touchdowns to Tyler Shoemaker and Matt Miller, as he ran an uber-efficient offense. The Broncos other score came when Hunter White recovered a fumble and took it 16 yards to the house.
Air Force was able to put a field goal on the board as the first half ended to bring the Falcons within 10 points, but their inability to move the ball through the air -- Jefferson has completed just two of his five passing attempts -- has kept them from inching any closer to the lead.
