Hands in the air if you expected the Tennessee Volunteers to be within a field goal of the Alabama Crimson Tide at halftime, let alone to have the same number of field goals. It's 6-6 at the break (shoot over here for score updates and live discussion). Your hands are down.
How have they done it? For one, Trent Richardson has only 37 yards on 10 attempts, along with three from Eddie Lacy. While A.J. McCarron's produced a couple of big plays, he's also thrown a pick -- and really isn't built to win a SEC game without a running attack.
UT's offense is ... well, it's determined, with Tauren Poole rushing 14 times and Matt Simms unfurling 13 efforts. None of them went much of anywhere, other than a 21-yard grab by Da'Rick Rogers. But still! Six points!
