T. Boone Pickens interviews are always worth a read, especially when he opens up and lets whatever is on his mind at the moment come flying out of his mouth. This, of course, happens just about every time he speaks and it's always enlightening.
On Big 12 expansion, Pickens discussed the schools under consideration.
Well, I've got to be convinced on West Virginia. I haven't seen anything on the school. But TCU was easy. That was like coming home. But why does Pickens need to be convinced West Virginia should be added to the Big 12? Sadly, the answer is Morgantown.
Morgantown … as I remember, you've got to fly into Pittsburgh and then drive a couple hours. That's pretty isolated. I think we can solve this. Yes, it's a bit of a haul to get to Morgantown but once you get there, it's Magictown. Get him some moonshine, let him roll down a grassy hill and Pickens will come around.

Morgentown is isolated?
This is coming from a man who supports a school in Stillwater, OK. Give me a break.

hmm
10 miles farther from Morgantown to Pittsburgh than Stillwater to OKC.
My understanding is that the really difficult place to get to in the Big 12 is Texas Tech in Lubbock.
