Ray Graham Injury: Pittsburgh RB Carted Off After Injuring Right Knee

Stay connected with SB Nation

Pittsburgh running back Ray Graham was carted off after suffering what appeared to be a serious right knee injury during Thursday night's matchup against UConn. Graham was attempting to make a cut in the hole when his right knee buckled, leaving him in a significant amount of pain. Graham immediately pulled up and grabbed his knee, going to the ground shortly thereafter.

The Pitt running back was helped to the sideline, unable to put weight on his right knee. After a short time on the training table, a cart was summoned to take him back to the locker room. Before he left, his family joined him on the sidelines and Graham appeared to be inconsolable.

Graham is the Panthers' leading rusher this season, compiling 939 yards and nine touchdowns on 162 carries.
